Big lake, steady breeze
Eustis sits on a big open lake, and that is the first thing our crew thinks about when a tent goes up here. Lake Eustis pushes a steady afternoon breeze onto the Ferran Park waterfront and the lakefront homes along the shore, so every tent we install near the water gets extra ratchet lines as standard and weighted footings on the boardwalk-side hardscape and paver patios. Tell us your yard is on the lake — or on Lake Joanna or East Crooked Lake — and we plan for it before the truck leaves.
All seven sizes we rent are aluminum-frame high peak tents with no center pole — 10×10, 10×20, 20×20, 20×40, 40×40, 40×60 and 40×80 — and the crew installs every one. Prices are on this page, live from the catalog; setup and breakdown are included. Eustis is about 17 road miles from the shop via SR-441 and SR-19, a couple of miles past our flat zone, so delivery prices around $67 for the whole order, shown at checkout.
What Eustis books
Church functions and community events downtown run a 40×40 over folding chairs by the hundred. Lakefront reunions and backyard weddings on Lake Joanna and East Crooked Lake run a 20×20 or 20×40 with rounds and padded chairs. GeorgeFest in February and the downtown holiday events fill the calendar for those weekends; book early and we hold the inventory.
Permits and Ferran Park
Tents up to 900 square feet are exempt from the Florida Fire Prevention Code, which covers a 20×40 (800 sq ft). Larger tents, or any side 30 feet or longer, need a Lake County permit and a fire-protection review — we prepare the application and the flame-resistance certificate and schedule around it. Ferran Park, Carver Park, Sunset Island and Marsh Memorial Park are City of Eustis facilities and events there need a city permit; reserve first, send us the approved window, and we set up inside it with a certificate of insurance on request.
Sizing
Ten square feet per seated guest at 60-inch rounds: a 20×20 seats 40, a 20×40 seats 80, a 40×40 seats 160, a 40×60 seats 240. A 20×40 needs about 24×44 of flat ground once stakes and guy lines are counted; a 40×40 about 46×46. Send a photo of the space and we will tell you honestly what fits.
What goes with the tent
Folding chairs and 8-foot tables for church and community events; rounds with floor-length linens, padded chairs, a skirted bar and a dance floor for weddings; tent lighting, fans and coolers from the add-ons list. Add them in the same checkout and it is one delivery fee and one crew.
