Our most regular Seminole County stop
Altamonte Springs is about 14 road miles from our shop on Breezy Meadow Road — inside the 15-mile zone — so it gets our flat $59 delivery and some of our earliest morning windows. It is also one of the cities where we already rank near the top of Google because we are here every week: birthday parties in Spring Lake Hills and Sanlando Springs, church events off SR-434, and the occasional corporate picnic near Uptown Altamonte.
The typical Altamonte order is practical rather than formal. A 20×20 high peak tent, forty to sixty plastic folding chairs, six 8-foot tables for food and gifts, and a cooler and a drum fan from the add-ons list because it is Florida. Families who want a step up choose the padded resin chairs and 60-inch rounds with lap-length linens; the difference is a few dollars a seat and it is all priced on this page.
The one permit rule to know here
Altamonte Springs’ Building and Fire Safety Department requires a tent permit only for tents or canopies over 900 square feet — the city’s own application says so. The fee is $50, processing takes up to five calendar days, and the city wants a certificate of flame resistance and a site plan. Our 20×20 (400 sq ft) and 20×40 (800 sq ft) never need it; the 40×40 does, so for those we ask you to book at least ten days out and we supply the certificate and the plan. Addresses outside the city limits fall under Seminole County Fire Prevention (407-665-7422), which uses the same 900-square-foot line.
Parks and public events
Cranes Roost Park in Uptown Altamonte is the city’s showcase and its events go through the city’s special-event process; once yours is approved, send us the load-in time and layout and we match it. Sanlando Park on Sand Lake Road is a Seminole County park with pavilions and fields, and Eastmonte Park has pavilions families reserve for birthday parties. We provide a certificate of insurance for any of them on request.
Older lots, drain fields and oaks
A lot of Altamonte homes are on older lots with mature trees and, in some neighborhoods, septic drain fields in the back yard. Tell us where the drain field is and we keep stakes and the truck off it; tell us where the big roots run and we shift the tent a few feet. It takes a minute on the phone and saves a repair.
What a 50-guest Altamonte party costs
A 20×20 high peak tent, fifty folding chairs, seven 8-foot tables, and $59 delivery. Add $0.95 per chair and $2.95 per table if you want the crew to set them out instead of stacking them on the driveway. The totals are on the catalog pages, and the only number that changes at checkout is delivery — which for Altamonte Springs is the flat $59.
