Hills change everything
Clermont’s rolling terrain makes site planning matter more than anywhere else we go. A tent that goes up in ten minutes on a flat Apopka lot takes real work on a sloped Kings Ridge or Legends backyard: the frame gets leveled with adjustable legs on the uphill side, table runs get shimmed so nothing tips, and we flag any grade that would make a dance floor unsafe before delivery day rather than on it. Tell us the slope when you book — a phone photo of the yard is enough — and the crew arrives with the right gear.
Clermont is about 27 road miles from the shop across SR-50, so delivery prices around $110 for the whole order at our $59 base plus $4 a mile past 15. That is on the screen before you pay. For a tent-and-tables order it pencils out; for a few chairs we will tell you honestly that a closer company may be cheaper.
Lake Minneola and the chain of lakes
Waterfront Park on Lake Minneola is the city’s showcase — pavilions and lawns reserved through the City of Clermont, and a regular stop for us for reunions and showers. Lakefront homes along the Clermont chain of lakes take the afternoon breeze; tents there get extra ratchet lines. Palatlakaha Recreation Area, Kehlor Park and the Clermont City Center downtown are the other city facilities we deliver to. Reserve first, send us the approved window, and we set up inside it with a certificate of insurance on request.
Newer subdivisions
Summit Greens, Hartwood Reserve and the Minneola developments next door are new construction with compacted fill and shallow irrigation. Our crew probes before staking and uses weighted footings on paver lanais and pool decks. Gated communities need a gate code in the order notes.
Permits
Clermont is in Lake County. Tents up to 900 square feet are exempt from the Florida Fire Prevention Code; tents over 900 square feet or with any side 30 feet or longer need a Lake County permit and a fire-protection review, which we prepare and schedule around. Inside city limits the City of Clermont’s building office is the point of contact; we confirm which applies to your address before you book.
A realistic Clermont order
For an 80-guest Kings Ridge graduation on a sloped yard: a 20×40 high peak tent leveled on adjustable legs, eighty folding chairs, ten 8-foot tables, a 12×12 dance floor placed on the flattest section we can find, and delivery around $110. Prices are on the catalog pages; the delivery line is the only one that changes with your address.
