A dance floor has to be flat — Clermont rarely is
Clermont’s hills are the whole story for a dance floor. A floor that lays perfectly on a flat Apopka lot will rock and gap on a Kings Ridge or Legends backyard, so before we book one in Clermont we ask for a phone photo of the spot and the slope. Flat places work first time: the concrete under the Waterfront Park pavilions on Lake Minneola, a lanai in Summit Greens or Hartwood Reserve, a garage or driveway, or the leveled ground under one of our high peak tents. On a mild slope the crew shims the frame; on a real grade we will tell you honestly and suggest a flatter spot rather than deliver a floor nobody can dance on.

- 12×12 — the backyard floor: 25–30 people dancing at once, right for a 50-guest party.
- 16×16 — 40–50 dancing, the wedding floor for 80–100 guests; fits under a 20×40 tent with ten rounds.
- 20×20 — 60–70 dancing, for 120–150 guests under a 40×40 tent.

Delivery from Apopka
Clermont is the far side of our Lake County range, about 27 road miles from the shop by SR-429 and Hwy 50, forty minutes on a normal morning, so delivery runs about $111 at our $59 base plus $4 for each mile past 15. A floor almost always travels with a tent, tables and chairs, and the fee covers the whole order — one truck, one crew, one bill.
Under a tent or under the stars
Under a tent the floor goes down after the frame is leveled and before the tables, so it is centered and the rounds are placed around it. In the open, the dark walnut surface takes a dewy evening better than a plain plywood floor, but we still pull it the next morning before the sun cooks it — pickup is included.
Lakefront pavilions
Waterfront Park’s pavilions are City of Clermont facilities reserved through the city; their concrete slabs are the easiest floor site in town. Send us the reservation window and we install inside it with a certificate of insurance on request.
