Hills are the whole story
Clermont’s rolling terrain is unlike anywhere else we install tents. A 20×40 that goes up in ten minutes on a flat Apopka lot takes real work on a sloped Kings Ridge or Legends backyard: the frame is leveled with adjustable legs on the uphill side, the stakes go in on the high side first, and the crew walks the footprint for grade before a single pole goes up. We flag any slope that would make a dance floor unsafe before delivery day, not on it. Send a phone photo of the yard when you book and the crew arrives with the right gear.
All seven sizes we rent are aluminum-frame high peak tents with no center pole. Prices are on this page, live from the catalog, and setup and breakdown are included. Clermont is about 27 road miles from the shop across SR-50, so delivery prices around $110 for the whole order at our $59 base plus $4 a mile past 15 — on the screen before you pay, and worth it for a tent order.
Lake Minneola and the newer subdivisions
Waterfront Park on Lake Minneola is a City of Clermont facility with pavilions and lawns, and lakefront homes along the Clermont chain of lakes take the afternoon breeze — tents there get extra ratchet lines. Summit Greens, Hartwood Reserve and the Minneola developments next door are new construction with compacted fill and shallow irrigation; the crew probes before staking and uses weighted footings on paver lanais and pool decks. Gated communities need a gate code in the order notes.
Permits
Clermont is in Lake County. Tents up to 900 square feet are exempt from the Florida Fire Prevention Code, which covers a 20×40 (800 sq ft); tents over 900 square feet or with any side 30 feet or longer need a Lake County permit and a fire-protection review, which we prepare and schedule around. Inside city limits the City of Clermont’s building office is the contact — we confirm which applies to your address before you book.
Sizing on a slope
Ten square feet per seated guest: a 20×20 seats 40, a 20×40 seats 80, a 40×40 seats 160. On a slope the footprint needs a little more room than the flat-ground 24×44 for a 20×40, because the adjustable legs and guy lines run longer on the downhill side. Two 20×20 tents on two terraces are sometimes the better answer than one 20×40 across a grade — we will tell you which when we see the photo.
Parks
Waterfront Park, Palatlakaha Recreation Area, Kehlor Park and the Clermont City Center downtown are city facilities; reserve through the City of Clermont, send us the approved window, and we set up inside it with a certificate of insurance on request.
