Two Winter Gardens, one price list
Winter Garden orders come from two very different places. Around Plant Street and the historic district, the lots are small and the setups are compact: a 10×20 or 20×20 high peak tent, four or five 60-inch rounds with chairs to match, tucked into a backyard behind a bungalow. Out in Horizon West, Hamlin and Independence, the houses are new, the lanais are covered, and the crowds are bigger — a 20×40 tent next to the lanai, eighty chairs, ten tables and a dance floor for a graduation or a quinceañera.
Both are about 14 road miles from our shop on Breezy Meadow Road via SR-429, which keeps nearly every Winter Garden address inside our 15-mile zone and at the flat $59 delivery. That is the whole fee for the whole order, and it is on the screen before you pay.
Horizon West, gates and new-construction yards
Most of the Horizon West communities are gated. Put the gate code or the guardhouse instructions in your order notes and the crew never has to wake you up. New-construction lots have compacted fill and irrigation lines close to the surface, so our crew probes before staking and shifts the footprint a foot or two rather than hit a line. Lanai-adjacent setups on pavers get weighted footings — no stakes through the pavers, nothing to repair.
Lakefront homes on the south shore of Lake Apopka and around Lake Butler Sound catch a steady afternoon wind; we add ratchet lines to any 20×40 or larger there as a matter of course.
The permit process in Winter Garden
Winter Garden is more procedural than most cities. Tents inside the city go through the Building Department, and Planning & Zoning has to sign off first; the city asks for a site plan, a drawing showing how the tent is guyed and braced, proof of the property owner’s permission and a flame-spread report, and it notes that some larger tents need City Commission approval. For a residential backyard tent under 900 square feet the state fire code does not apply, but the city may still want the paperwork — we tell you before you book whether your address needs an application, and we provide the bracing drawing and the flame-spread report. The general city line is 407-656-4111.
Where we set up
Newton Park on Lake Apopka, off Plant Street, is the lakefront lawn families reserve for showers and reunions. Tucker Ranch Recreation and Nature Complex and the Jessie Brock Community Center Park are the larger city facilities; the trailhead parks along the West Orange Trail host neighborhood events. Reserve through the city first, then send us the window — we set up inside it and bring a certificate of insurance if the city asks.
