Sanford, honestly
Sanford is one of our favorite cities to work in and one of the farthest we go regularly — about 27 road miles from the shop across SR-46. We are not going to pretend otherwise: at our $59 base plus $4 a mile past 15, a central Sanford address prices around $110 for delivery, and that number is on the screen before you pay. For a tent-and-tables order it is still usually less than the trip charge from an Orlando warehouse; for a handful of chairs, a closer company may be the better call and we will tell you so when you ask.
What you get for the drive is a crew that has set up on the Lake Monroe waterfront enough times to respect the wind, and a price list you can read before you ever talk to us.
The kinds of events we set up here
Sanford’s revitalized downtown has changed what people book. Engagement parties and rehearsal dinners in the historic district near First Street want 60-inch rounds, padded chairs and floor-length linens under a 20×20 or 20×40 high peak tent. Church events along Celery Avenue and in the Goldsboro neighborhood are the opposite — a hundred and fifty folding chairs and twenty 8-foot tables, dropped and set. Lake Forest and the Heathrow side get corporate and HOA orders: tables and chairs delivered on the clubhouse’s schedule, with a certificate of insurance sent the same day it is requested.
Wind, water and hardscape
The lawns along Lake Monroe and the RiverWalk-side hardscape take a steady breeze off the lake. Our crew adds guy lines on anything 20×40 and larger, prefers weighted footings on the paver and concrete areas near the water, and will move a tent footprint a few feet to keep it out of the worst of the wind line. Tell us if your yard is on the lake and we plan for it.
Permits and parks
Sanford runs its own Building Division (407-688-5150), and events at Fort Mellon Park or on the RiverWalk need a City of Sanford special-event permit — we set up inside your approved window and provide a COI if the city requests one. For private property, Florida’s 900-square-foot exemption covers a 20×40 (800 sq ft); anything larger gets a fire review from the city inside the limits or from Seminole County Fire Prevention (407-665-7422) outside them. Centennial Park and Veterans Memorial Park are the other downtown lawns we deliver to; 520 On the Water is a private venue we have worked with on Palmetto Avenue.
A realistic Sanford package
For a 60-guest backyard party: a 20×40 high peak tent, sixty folding or padded chairs, eight 60-inch rounds or ten 8-foot tables, and optional chair and table setup at $0.95 and $2.95 apiece. Prices are on this page; delivery for the whole order is one fee, and the exact figure for your address appears at checkout.
