Where the Sanford floors go
Rehearsal dinners and receptions in the historic district near First Street take a 12×12 or 16×16; clubhouse parties in Lake Forest and on the Heathrow side take the 16×16 or 20×20 on the clubhouse floor; church celebrations along Celery Avenue take the 20×20 in the fellowship hall. One dark walnut finish, three sizes, every price on this page, installation included. Sanford is about 27 road miles from the shop across SR-46, so delivery prices around $110 for the whole order, shown before you pay — the floor is usually part of a tent-and-tables package, where that fee is spread across the whole order.
Indoors and out
Indoors the panels go straight down on a clubhouse or hall floor and lock together; outdoors they sit on a sub-floor that levels them, and the crew checks the grade first. On the Lake Monroe waterfront the floor goes on the lee side of the tent — a breezy afternoon is not the floor’s problem, but the tent’s guy lines are, and we keep the floor clear of them. Tell us the door the truck can reach and whether there are stairs; the panels carry.
Which size
- 12×12 — up to about 50 guests; the downtown rehearsal dinner.
- 16×16 — 80–100 guests; the reception under a 20×40 tent, or the clubhouse party.
- 20×20 — 120–160 guests; the church celebration, the big reception under a 40×40.
Rule of thumb: three square feet per guest on the floor at once, about a third of the guests dancing at any moment.
Parks and venues
Fort Mellon Park, Centennial Park and the RiverWalk need a City of Sanford special-event permit; 520 On the Water is a private venue with its own load-in window. We install inside the approved window with a certificate of insurance if asked. A dance floor needs no permit.
The rest of the package
A high peak tent, tent lighting, 60-inch rounds with linens, padded or folding chairs and a skirted bar go in the same checkout — one delivery fee, one crew.
