Tables for open ground
Sorrento’s acreage, barn venues and the Red Tail community book the big table orders — a hundred chairs and a dozen rounds for a wedding in an open field, or eighty folding chairs and ten 8-foot banquets for a reunion at the barn. About 10 road miles up SR-46 from the shop, Sorrento gets the flat $59 delivery and the shortest windows of any city outside Apopka, which matters when a hundred chairs need to be set before a noon ceremony.
Setup on uneven ground
Open fields are rarely dead level. The crew shims table legs and sets rounds on the flattest run of ground, keeps tables off the sandy low spots that hold water after a storm, and uses pads under feet on barn floors and concrete pads. Setup by the crew is $0.95 a chair and $2.95 a table at checkout and is the usual choice for a hundred-plus chairs; drop-off orders are stacked at the barn door or wherever you point. - 100 guests, field wedding — thirteen 60-inch rounds, a hundred padded resin chairs, floor-length linens, two skirted bars, four cocktail tables, a sweetheart table, under a 40×40 tent.
- 80 guests, barn reunion — ten 8-foot banquets seated eight, eighty folding chairs, three serving tables, two coolers.
- 40 guests, Red Tail backyard — five rounds, forty padded chairs, lap-length linens, a bar.
A 60-inch round seats eight comfortably; an 8-foot banquet seats eight; a 6-foot seats six. Tell us the headcount and the space and we lay it out.
Permits
Tables and chairs need no permit. If a tent goes over them, Sorrento is unincorporated Lake County: tents up to 900 square feet are exempt from the state fire code; larger tents get a Lake County review that we prepare. Barn venues hosting the public may carry their own county event permit — ask the venue.
Linens and the rest
Floor- and lap-length linens sized to every table we rent, bistro and cocktail tables, a 6-foot skirted bar, a sweetheart table, tent lighting, extension cords, fans and coolers go in the same checkout — one $59 delivery, one crew, one bill.
