Chairs by the hundred on the waterfront
Tavares chair orders are the big-count kind. Community events and fundraisers at Wooton Park need a hundred or two hundred folding chairs dropped stacked at the pavilion; church functions along Old Highway 441 book the same chairs for fellowship dinners; the Royal Harbor and Lake Frances Estates clubhouses book fifty to eighty for socials. Lakefront homes on the Lake Dora shore are the exception — they book padded resin chairs for dinners and anniversary parties where the chairs are in the photos. Every chair is priced per seat on this page, live from our catalog, and quantity discounts show in the cart.
Getting to Tavares
The shop on Breezy Meadow Road in Apopka is about 16 road miles from downtown Tavares — up SR-441 through Mount Dora, roughly a half hour — so delivery runs about $67 at our $59 base plus $4 for each mile past 15. If you have a truck or trailer, pickup at the shop is free and a hundred folding chairs fit in a pickup bed with a strap. Delivered orders are stacked where you point; setup by the crew is $0.95 a chair if you would rather the rows and rounds be placed.
Wooton Park and city facilities
Wooton Park is a City of Tavares facility and events there run on a city permit. Once yours is approved, send us the load-in window and the site map and we deliver inside it with a certificate of insurance if the city asks. Chairs on private property need no permit at all.
Which chair for which event
White folding chairs are the Tavares default for ceremonies, park events and anything outdoors in daylight. Black folding chairs disappear under a dark tent or in a clubhouse. Padded resin chairs are the wedding and dinner chair — a cushioned seat and a finish that photographs well beside floor-length linens. Bar stools pair with cocktail tables for the hour before dinner. Sixty folding chairs fit under a 20×20 tent at rounds; a hundred fit under a 20×40 with a dance floor.
Lawns, seawalls and breezes
Waterfront lawns along Lake Dora are soft after rain; the crew sets rows on the firmest ground and keeps chairs off irrigation heads. On a breezy afternoon we band stacked chairs and tell you which way to face rows. Pair chairs with tables, linens, a tent or a dance floor in the same checkout for one delivery fee and one crew.
