Rounds on the lakefront
Maitland’s table orders lean formal: 60-inch rounds in floor-length linens for a backyard wedding on Lake Sybelia, wood cocktail and bistro tables for the hour before dinner, a skirted bar, a half-round sweetheart table, and a 6-foot banquet for the cake and gifts. The 8-foot banquets come out for the bigger reunions in Dommerich Hills. Every table is priced per piece on this page. Maitland is about 18 road miles from the shop, so delivery prices around $75 for the whole order, shown at checkout.
Slopes, oaks and docks
Maitland’s lakefront lots slope toward the water and the older neighborhoods are full of mature oaks. The crew shims table legs so nothing tips, sets rounds on the flattest run of lawn clear of the roots, and puts pads under table feet on docks, boardwalks and paver terraces. Setup by the crew — $2.95 a table at checkout — is the usual Maitland choice; for a wedding the rounds are placed to the planner’s diagram and dressed before the florist arrives.
Seating math
- 60-inch round — eight comfortably; eight rounds for a 60-guest dinner, ten under a 20×40 tent with a dance floor.
- Cocktail / bistro — standing for four; one per ten guests at cocktail hour.
- 8-foot banquet — a buffet line, the DJ, or eight seated.
- 6-foot banquet — the cake, the gifts, the escort cards.
