The wedding floor
Winter Park is where the 16×16 goes: under a 20×40 high peak tent on a lakefront lawn, with ten rounds in floor-length linens around it, for a backyard wedding on the Chain of Lakes or an anniversary party off Interlachen Avenue. The 20×20 comes out under the 40×40 for the bigger receptions; the 12×12 covers a Sweet Sixteen or an engagement party on a terrace. One dark walnut finish, three sizes, every price on this page, installation included. Winter Park is about 22 road miles from our shop, so delivery prices around $85 for the whole order, shown at checkout.
Terraces, lawns and the sub-floor
The floor sits on a sub-floor that levels it, which matters on Winter Park’s lakefront lawns that slope toward the water and on brick and paver terraces that are never quite flat. The crew checks the grade first, sets the floor on the flattest section, and puts pads under the sub-floor on hardscape so nothing is scratched. Gated communities off Via Tuscany and the Isle of Sicily area: put the code or guardhouse instructions in your order notes.
Which size
- 12×12 — up to about 50 guests; an engagement party, a Sweet Sixteen.
- 16×16 — 80–100 guests; the standard Winter Park wedding floor under a 20×40.
- 20×20 — 120–160 guests; under a 40×40 with twenty rounds.
Rule of thumb: three square feet per guest on the floor at once, about a third of the guests dancing at any moment.
Parks and venues
Dinky Dock Park, Shady Park and the Azalea Lane Recreation Center are reserved through the City of Winter Park; Central Park on Park Avenue is city-events-only. We install inside your approved window with a certificate of insurance on request. A dance floor needs no permit; a tent over 900 square feet does — see our Winter Park tent page.
The rest of the package
A 20×40 or 40×40 high peak tent, tent lighting, 60-inch rounds with floor-length linens, padded resin chairs, a skirted bar and a sweetheart table go in the same checkout — one delivery fee, one crew, one bill.
