Three floors, one finish
We rent one dance floor in three sizes — 12×12, 16×16 and 20×20 — in a dark walnut finish that photographs well and looks right under a tent, in a clubhouse or on a lanai. Every size is priced on this page, live from the catalog, and installation is part of the price: the crew lays the panels, levels them on the sub-floor, and picks them up after. Orlando is our biggest dance-floor market outside Apopka — quinceañeras off Semoran, backyard weddings in Audubon Park and College Park, Sweet Sixteens in Baldwin Park, company parties in Lake Nona.
Central Orlando is about 21 road miles from our shop, so delivery prices above our $59 base — roughly $80–$85 for a downtown address, computed from your real address at checkout and covering the whole order.
Which size
The rule of thumb is three square feet per guest on the floor at once, and about a third of the guests dancing at any moment:
- 12×12 (144 sq ft) — up to about 50 guests; a backyard birthday, a Sweet Sixteen, a lanai party.
- 16×16 (256 sq ft) — 80–100 guests; the wedding and quinceañera floor under a 20×40 tent.
- 20×20 (400 sq ft) — 120–160 guests; under a 40×40, or in a clubhouse.
Under a 20×40 high peak tent a 16×16 fits with ten rounds; under a 40×40 the 20×20 fits with twenty rounds. Tell us the headcount and the tent and we lay it out.
Indoors, outdoors, on a slope
The floor goes on grass, pavers, a pool deck, a garage slab or a clubhouse floor. Outdoors it sits on a sub-floor that levels it — the crew checks the grade first and will move the floor a few feet to the flattest spot rather than build up a slope. Older Orlando backyards with oak roots: the floor goes where the ground is smooth. Townhomes and apartments: tell us where the truck can stage and whether there is an elevator; the panels carry.
Parks and venues
Constitution Green and the downtown parks are City of Orlando facilities with their own special-event rules; private venues like The Abbey have load-in windows. We install inside the approved window and bring a certificate of insurance if asked. A dance floor needs no permit; a tent over it inside Orlando city limits does — see our Orlando tent page.
Tent, tables, chairs and lighting
The floor is usually part of a package: a 20×40 or 40×40 high peak tent, tent lighting, 60-inch rounds with floor-length linens, padded chairs, a skirted bar. Add it all in one checkout — one delivery fee, one crew, one bill.
