The most tent-friendly lots we serve
Longwood has the yards. The acre-plus properties along Markham Woods Road and around Lake Brantley have room for our 40×40 and 40×60 high peak tents and street access wide enough for the truck — most of the biggest tents we install go up here. Wekiva Cove and Sabal Point are closer to our side of I-4 with normal suburban lots that take a 20×20 or 20×40 comfortably.
Longwood is about 15 road miles from the shop, right at the edge of our flat zone: delivery is $59 for the closer addresses and a few dollars more out toward Markham Woods, computed from the real road miles to your address and shown at checkout.
Large tents and the fire review
This is the city where the 900-square-foot rule matters most. A 20×40 (800 sq ft) is exempt from the Florida Fire Prevention Code; a 40×40 (1,600 sq ft) is not. Inside Longwood limits the city handles the review; outside them Seminole County Fire Prevention (407-665-7422) does, checking exits and exit widths for tents open to the public and requiring stakes near exits to be capped or railed. We prepare the application, supply the flame-resistance certificate and site plan, and build the review time into your delivery date — book large tents at least two weeks out.
Ground, HOAs and access
The Markham Woods area is sand over clay and stakes hold well. Sweetwater Oaks and Sabal Point HOAs restrict truck access hours; share the rules and we schedule inside them. Long private drives are common on the acreage lots — tell us if yours is unpaved so the crew plans the approach.
Parks
Reiter Park by the historic district is Longwood’s main event park and runs on the city’s special-event rules; Candyland Park has pavilions families reserve for birthdays; Big Tree Park on General Hutchison Parkway is a Seminole County park. Reserve first, send us the approved window, and we set up inside it with a certificate of insurance on request.
