Tents on a schedule
Lake Mary tent orders come with a schedule attached. Office campuses along International Parkway and in the Heathrow corridor want shade tents over the food line for a picnic or an open house, set before staff arrive; clubhouse events in Heathrow, Magnolia Plantation and Timacuan want a 20×40 high peak tent over the lawn with the setup finished before the caterer loads in. We deliver at 6 a.m. here routinely and send the certificate of insurance the same day it is requested — tell us the exact entity name to list and it goes out within hours.
All seven sizes we rent are aluminum-frame high peak tents with no center pole. Prices are on this page, live from the catalog, and setup and breakdown are included. Lake Mary is about 20 road miles from the shop, so delivery prices around $79 for the whole order, computed from your address at checkout.
Campus and clubhouse rules
Campuses want the truck off the fire lane and the crew gone before the doors open; clubhouse lawns are irrigated and manicured. We bring drop cloths for every frame leg, anchor with weighted footings on paver patios and pool decks so nothing is drilled, and keep stakes clear of irrigation heads on turf. Tell us the loading-dock hours or the gate procedure and we plan the window around it.
Permits
Florida exempts tents up to 900 square feet from the Fire Prevention Code, which covers a 20×40 (800 sq ft). A 40×40 or larger gets a fire review — from the city inside Lake Mary limits or from Seminole County Fire Prevention (407-665-7422) outside them — and we prepare the application and the flame-resistance certificate and schedule around it.
Sizing for Lake Mary events
- 10×10 / 10×20 — shade over a grill, a bar or a registration table.
- 20×20 — 30–40 seated; the backyard birthday and the small team lunch.
- 20×40 — 80 seated; the clubhouse party and the department picnic, no review needed.
- 40×40 and up — 160+ seated; the company-wide event, with the fire review scheduled ahead.
Two 20×20 tents over a food line are often the better answer for a campus picnic than one large tent — no permit, more flexibility on where they go. Send us the headcount and the space and we will lay it out.
Parks
Central Park by City Hall, Trailblazer Park, Liberty Park and Lake Mary Park are city facilities; reserve through the City of Lake Mary, send us the approved window, and we set up inside it with a certificate of insurance on request.
